Prohibition Peril - a 1920s Murder at the Meatball

It's 1926. Prohibition is going strong, but it hasn’t stopped The Bee’s Knees Jazz Club from thriving. A few weeks ago, Marvin Martini, known mob boss, handed ownership of the club over to someone new, and they're throwing themselves a party to celebrate. The guest list includes the famous, the infamous, and you!

 

Chaos at Calamity Creek - a Wild West Murder at the Meatball

It's 1849 in the dusty boom town of Calamity Creek, which was took over by two rival gangs: the Renegade Renegades & the Viper Vultures. All us town residents (includin’ you) are meetin’ at The Silver Snake Saloon to try and figure out how to kick these ruffians outta our town before more gold goes missin’ and people start getting’ hurt!

• What is included?​

  • Access to the Pre-Show 30 minutes prior to showtime, where you can order show-exclusive drinks, purchase Immersive Experience Bundles to enhance your interaction with the show, and other themed merchandise, and get photographs with Julia Lane Cooper.​

  • A 3-course dinner, including salad, entree & dessert.

  • ​Comedy, audience interactions, and live music performed by the 2025 Valley Star Female Vocalist of the Year.

• How long is the show?​

  • The show lasts approximately 90-minutes... depending on how crazy we get!

• Is the show appropriate for all ages?​

  • Yes! No written jokes or improvised comedy from Julia will be more than vague implied references to anything rated more than PG (there is a MURDER, after all!) There is no guarantee that participating audience members won't go off-script; however, Julia always tries to keep things clean.​

• How many guest characters will be included in each mystery?​

  • We have room for up to 12 ticketholders to play characters.​

• I want to play a character! What do I need to do?

  • VIP ticketholders must be at least 11 years old with the ability to read out loud with confidence, and the willingness to be a little silly. They are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to showtime so they can get their character assignment and additional information for how the show runs. Costumes are not required. Accessories and Immersive Experience Packages will be available for purchase during the Pre-Show and VIP ticketholders get 10% off standard merchandise bundles.​

• Is your comedy mean-spirited or embarrassing?​

  • Nope. Our aim is for everyone to have fun, and never at the expense of others. As long as you're willing to be a little silly, you won't be embarrassed. None of the written or improvised comedy by Julia will be derogatory or mean-spirited.​
